Barbara Ann Waguespack's Obituary
Barbara Hancock Waguespack, a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University and a retired accountant for the La. Dept. of Agriculture and Forestry, peacefully departed this life at home at 12:15 p.m. on July 20, 2006, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was 68 and a resident of Baton Rouge for the past 5 years.
Visitation will be at E.J. Fieldings Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Sunday, July 23, 2006 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Visitation will continue at the funeral home chapel on Monday, July 24, 2006 from 9:00 AM until religious service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Rev. Max Davis. She is survived by: her husband, James Waguespack, Sr. of Folsom, La; three children, Barbara W. Galazzo, of Cold Spring, NY; James Waguespack, Jr. of Folsom , La; Gigi W. Cardenas of Mandeville, La.; six grandchildren, Ashley Waguespack; Jason Waguespack; Josh Waguespack; Theresa Cardenas; Carmyn Waguespack; Gianna Galazzo; one brother, Bobby Hancock of Old Bridge, NJ; three sisters, Patsy Wright of Metairie, La.; Joyce Musante of Atlanta, Ga; Susan Dempster of Paradis, La.; and her mother, Mary Matherne of Paradis, La.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends and colleagues.
