Melissa, Scott, Harrison & Jeffery,
Eric and I are so glad we were able to share your mom's memorial today with your family. Aunt Cookie was dear to all of us! She is in our thoughts and prayers.
Barbara was an angel that touched the life of every soul who met her. Always so thoughtful, strong in character, and happy/positive in living. Knowing her was a blessing. She will be greatly missed. Memories keep us going. Lifting your family in prayer
I remember meeting Barbara ten years ago when I began at working at DM. She not only taught me a great deal but was a wonderful friend and encourager. She also had a fabulous sense of humor. I have many fond memories of times when we laughed until we cried. She will be sorely missed.
Melissa and Scott, I will keep you and your family in my prayers and will ask God to comfort you in your time of need.
Barbara inspired me to believe that life is about moving forward and not looking back in regret. Things in life happen for a reason. I believe my encounter with her was indeed to persuaded my growth. I am thankful that I met her. "Luv Ya Barb".
To her dauther, you and I know that you had a wonderful mother.
Barbara was a kind and genteel lady and will be dearly missed. Our friendship grew over our mutual love of cats. We would laugh and share stories and pictures of our "babies". Goodbye, my friend.
I'll miss you my friend. You were one of the nicest people I've ever known. You love of good music and sense of humor at work have been sorely missed since you retired and now I'll miss our cartoon/funny story e-mails that we shared after your retirement. My condolences to family and friends. The world has lost one fine lady!
I am saddened by the loss of your mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. I knew Barbara for many years at the SPR. I was one of the many people she helped with our documents. She was always kind, cheerful and helpful. I especially remember around 2004 how we discussed our Disney trips. I know that is trip you will always treasure. She was so happy to be going with you. Best wishes for all of you in your time of sorrow. Jerry Scjroeder
Melissa, your Mom was such a kind and loving person to everybody. We would joke around all the time and I would call her Mom #2 because we were so much alike. I will miss her greatly. Keep in touch.
Love Ya'll Sandra Gleason
I worked with Barbara, and she was a great co-worker always willing to give a helping hand and was such a sweet person.
I work at DM, and though I am new to Barbara's old department and didn't know her, it is obvious that she touched many lives here. She will be greatly missed by her former co-workers. My prayers are with the family--may God give you peace and comfort you in your time of grief.
