Barbara was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a graduate of Bolton High School in Alexandria, LA where she met the Love of her life, Wilbert Reisig. She attended Louisiana State University after which she married Wilbert in 1956. Besides raising her 2 children, Barbara was an avid tennis player and runner, and she had her regular tennis league at the Beach Club in Metairie where she formed many friendships. She also loved working part time at the New Orleans Convention Center with the Hellen Brett Jewelry Show. Barbara was a Sustainer in the Junior Leagues of Alexandria and New Orleans, a member of the Louisiana Women’s Republican Committee and the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation. She looked forward to her summer trips at the beach in Destin to spend time with her family and friends and loved cooking and baking, especially during the holidays. A special thank you to the Windsor Senior Living Community who welcomed her stay with open arms and her Care Givers Leslie and Angee with Interim Hospice for their compassion and excellent care.
