She was the beloved wife of Andrew “A.J.” Ruiz, Jr., loving and devoted mother of Mary R. Grace, Andrew Ruiz, III, Charles Ruiz, Anne R. Bitterwolf and Hope R. Andras. Mother-in-law of John Grace, Shannon Ruiz, Christine Ruiz, Mark Bitterwolf and David Andras. She was the caring grandmother of 14 grandchildren and the sister of Eliot Labb?, Jr. and Margy Barrilleaux. She was the daughter of the late Eliot Labb?, Sr. and Margaret “Margy” Armbruster Labb? and the daughter-in-law of Irma Ruiz and the late Andrew Ruiz, Sr.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a funeral mass on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 2115 Jefferson Street, Mandeville, LA 70448.
Visitation on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 and again on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.
The family would prefer memorials in Mrs. Ruiz’s name to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
