My deepest condolences to the family of Barbara Joan Dutruch Davis. She was a friend of my childhood days, and even though I have lived away from the community for many years, I wish to offer my respects to the entire family. Her mother Mrs. Belva Dutruch was an aunt to my half-sister Mary Nell, who passed away in 1956.

I understand your sadness; I was very close to my grandmother who was full of smiles and laughter who died in 2001. She was my matron of honor in my wedding and held on to her life until she met my first baby, Maddie. She literally died the next day I still miss her and think of her every day. When I went to her bank recently to pay our water bill, I was surprised and sad to hear that Mrs. Davis had passed away, as well as her mother-in-law. I'm sorry to say that I didn't know her except when we spoke once a month for years when I paid the water bill. She was always there, and she was always friendly, smiling, and cheerful. I'll miss seeing her each month. My deepest sympathies go to her family at this time of grief.
