Barbara Irene Cross' Obituary
Barbara Irene Cross, age 71 of Mandeville, LA died on Sunday, July 23, 2017, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born, Monday, April 22, 1946 in Laurel, MS to Julius Lott and Myra Pippen.
Survived by her Husband of 46 years - James Rodney Cross, Daughter - Cori Allyson Cross, Brothers - Ronnie Lott, and Charlie Lott. She was predeceased by her Father - Julius Lott, Mother - Myra Pippen, and Brother Jimmy Crotwell.
Irene was very compassionate and loved to feed the hungry. She worked for Ochsner Labs for 30 years having started as a Lab Technician rising to Administrative Director of the Lab. She then started a career with Latter & Blum Realtor and retired in 2014.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 9:00 AM to service time.
Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Covington, LA.
