Makayla was the great-granddaughter of Edward L. Tresch, Sr., Kathleen D. Tresch (deceased), Anthony Victor Palmisano (deceased), Evelyn S. Palmisano, Carlos Roberto Zapata (deceased), Eda America Zapata, Lila Lambert Dragon, and Thomas Allen Seymour.
