August J. Venturella, III's Obituary
August Joseph Venturella III passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at his home in the arms of his family. He was born February 20, 1960 in New Orleans to August J., Jr. and JoAnn Weigand Venturella and has been a resident of Covington since 1977.
The beloved husband of Theresa Biggers Venturella, he is survived by two daughters - Kim Morere (Grant) and Kandace Maynard; three sisters - Julie King, Renee' Nunez (Terry) and Joanne Morere (Dave); one brother - Stephen Venturella (Doreene) and his father and mother-in-law - Bobby and Dee Biggers. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Nicholas Morere, Kaylynn LaCost, Katie Grabert and Kirk Stein. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and dear friends who were very special to him. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Michael Venturella and a son, Kirk Maynard.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433.
A wake is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 14, 2013 from 6-9:00 PM with visitation beginning Saturday at 1:00 PM.
Interment at Barker-McManus Cemetery will follow services.
