August Knight's Obituary
August Knight, went to be with his Precious Lord on Thursday, February 7, 2008.
Beloved husband of 47 years to Willie Hicks Knight; father to Jane Revere and her husband Roger, John Daniel Coyne and his wife Glenda, Jack Earl Coyne and his wife Kathy and James Newton Coyne and his wife Carol; brother to Vergie Toney, Alice Parish, Mary Prince and her husband Bill, Richard Knight and his wife Catherine and Robert Knight and his wife Elois. August is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, “Doris Tisdale Knight; his father, James Daniel Knight; and a brother, Leonard Earl Knight.
Age 70 years, he was a native and lifelong resident of Covington, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Monday, February 11, 2008 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation will be on Sunday, February 10, 2008 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and on Monday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.
Interment will follow services in Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery.
