August “Augie” William Jenevein, on Saturday, March 31, 2007.
Beloved husband of Marian Hurley Jenevein. Brother of George and Theresa Jenevein and the late Earl Jenevein, Amelia J and Cecelia “Dot” J. Mullen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Aged 86 years, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Abita Springs, LA for the past 28 years. A WWII veteran of the Navy. Long time member of St. Jane de Chantal Parish where he was involved in numerous ministries, including the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Volunteered many years at the Town Hall of Abita Springs.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Liturgy of the Word service on Thursday, April 5, 2007 at 12:00 PM from St. Jane de Chantal Catholic Church, 72040 Maple St., Abita Springs, LA 70420. Visitation, AT THE CHURCH, on Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment in Abita Springs Mausoleum.
