Arthur "Buddy" J. Montgomery, III's Obituary
Arthur J. “Buddy” Montgomery, III passed away on February 19, 2010. He was born November 7, 1947 in New Orleans to the late Arthur J., Jr. and Mildred Simoneaux Montgomery and has been a resident of Covington since 1959.
He is the beloved husband of Jackie Walker Montgomery and from this marriage two daughters were born: Shanna M. Langenbeck (Jonah) and Sayward Montgomery. He is also survived by his son from a previous marriage, Jamie Montgomery (Susie); two sisters, Kathleen Montgomery and June M. Miller (Carlos); his brother, Donald Montgomery (Angela) and four grandchildren: Maison and Marlee Montgomery, Grayson Nail and Avery Montgomery, with baby girl Langenbeck due in a few short weeks.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all those who offered prayers and support during Buddy’s illness.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services at 4:00 PM on Monday, February 22, 2010 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours will begin Monday at 2:00 PM.
