Arlene Coleman Brady's Obituary
Arlene Coleman Brady, age 99, a homemaker, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a devout Christian passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at her home.
Mrs. Brady was a native of Van Buren, MO and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 54 years. She was one of the oldest and regularly attending members of First Baptist Church of Covington.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert M. (Bob) Brady and her eldest son Michael Brady. Survived by three sons: Judge James J. (Jim) Brady of Baton Rouge and educators William Brian (Bill) Brady and Colin Coleman Brady both of Covington, three daughters-in-law: Karol, Karen, and Angela; three granddaughters Erin Beard and husband Ronnie, Kathleen, and Maura Brady; three grandsons Kevin and wife Caitie, Kelly and wife Janet, and Sean Brady; four great-grandsons Michael and Liam Brady, Justin and Ryan Beard; and great-granddaughters McKinley and Evyn Brady; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will also be greatly missed by numerous friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on November 1, 2008 at 3:00 PM from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until service time. Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations in memory of Mrs. Brady to the First Baptist Church of Covington Library 16333 Hwy 1085 Covington, LA 70433.
