Antonio Rosa Sr.'s Obituary
Antonio “Dago” Rosa, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. He was born on May 18, 1945 in New Orleans, LA to Angelina Rosa and Joseph Chianelli.
Dago was the beloved husband of Iva Sharp Rosa. He was the loving father of Antonio Rosa, Jr. (Bridgett), David Rosa, and Michelle Curole (Keith). Dago was the proud grandfather of Dwight Curole (Amy), Paige Crawford (Dylan), Luke Curole (Jazmen), and Cody Rosa; great-grandfather of Abigail Crawford and Owen Crawford. He was the brother of Joella Alsobrooks (the late Jigs) and the late David Gerald (Nancy).
Dago was a caring and generous friend to many. He was always willing to give a hand to others, whether he knew them or not. Dago was quick with a joke to lift the spirits of those around him. He was always busy lending a hand to those in need and will be dearly missed by many.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM. A WAKE will be held on Monday, April 11, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation on Tuesday will be from 10:00 AM until service time.
