Antoinette Donze Johnson's Obituary
Antoinette Donze Johnson passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at her home in Covington, LA. She was born April 5, 1930 in New Orleans to Francisco A. and Grace D’antoni Donze, lived most of her life in Arabi, LA before moving to Covington in 2006.
The beloved wife of the late Harold L. Johnson, Jr. for over 60 years, she is survived by five children: Cynthia J. Wiegand (Harold), Frank A., Harold L., III (Amy), Kenneth J. (Marlene) and Stephen J. Johnson (Robin) and one sister, Mary Grace Cardella. She will be dearly missed by her 8 grandchildren: Gerald Wiegand, Suzanne W. Lyles and Amy Wiegand, Harold L., IV and Paige Johnson, Kevin, Katie and Gracie Johnson and 3 great grandchildren: Jonathan, Reece and Mattie. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Giacinto Donze.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial mass at 12:00 Noon on Monday, October 7, 2013 at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 306 St. Mary St. Madisonville, LA 70447.
Visitation at the church will begin Monday at 11:00 AM.
Private committal services will be held at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens at a later date.
E.J. Fielding Funeral Home of Covington, LA has been entrusted with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred or donations may be made to Hospice of St, Tammany, 1202 S. Tyler St. Covington, LA70433.
