Anthony C. Grasso's Obituary
Anthony C. Grasso on Thursday, September 6, 2007. He was born in The Bronx, NY to the late Angelo and Anna Marie Grasso and lived for over 70 years in New York before moving to Covington four years ago.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Rosalie Rera Grasso; three daughters: Anna Marie Geraghty, Patricia Lynn Grasso, Theresa Rose Secrist; one son-in-law, Wilmer Secrist; one sister, Josephine G. Santoro and five grandchildren: Jason, Dally and Keri Burke, William and Melissa Secrist and Brian Geraghty. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Maurice and Louis Grasso.
Mr. Grasso was past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, a lifetime member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Italian-American Club and was a Honorary member of the AOH.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Liturgy of the Word on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
A wake is scheduled for Monday, September 10, 2007 from 6-9:00 PM and visiting hours on Tuesday will begin at 9:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 332 N. Lauderdale St., Memphis, TN 38106.
