Anthony GeRoy Elmore Jr.'s Obituary
Anthony GeRoy Elmore Jr. at the age of 29, unexpectedly entered eternal rest on Wednesday afternoon, March 16, 2022 at Lakeview Regional Medical Center. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 25, 1992 to Lydia Jefferson-Elmore and Anthony Elmore Sr.
He is survived by his pride and joy, his only son Andrew Elmore. Anthony leaves behind his loving mother Lydia Jefferson-Elmore, his father, Anthony Elmore, Sr. and four siblings, his caring twin brother, James Elmore, adoring sister, Linda Elmore, and his siblings, Terrance Jefferson, Courtney Elmore, Chester Johnson, and Teri Andrews.
A native of San Antonio, Texas and a longtime resident of DeRidder, Louisiana for over 20 years, he was also a devoted member to Sunrise Baptist Church. Anthony graduated from DeRidder High School. After high school, he proudly joined the United States Army in 2012, and served his country for two years. During his time in the United States Army he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and an Army Service Ribbon.
Anthony was family oriented, kind, and most of all a loyal person. His true passion was spending time with his loving family. Anthony was unique, well respected and liked, and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
