Anthony Joseph “Tony” Cucchero, Sr. age 85 passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2007. Former husband of May Suermann Cucchero. Father of Lisa C. Bayham (Alan), Anthony J. Cucchero, Jr., (Carla) and Donna C. Zafutto (David). Grandfather of Christopher Bayham (Valerie), Michelle B. Mangipano (Rance), David Zafutto Jr. and Caitlin Zafutto. Great-grandfather of Aiden and Gage Mangipano. Brother of Mary Durabb, Antionette Barone and the late Joseph Cucchero, Frank Cucchero, Jr.and Virginia McMurray. Son of the late Frank Cucchero, Sr. and Antionette Rosalie Cucchero. Mr. Cucchero was a former resident of St. Bernard Parish for 45 years and a retired Business Agent for Millwright Local 1931, United Brotherhood of Carpenters and the AFL/CIO. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday, February 5, 2007 at 12:00 PM from the Chapel of E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, Inc., 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Interment in Pinecrest Mausoleum. Visitation on Monday from 10:00 AM until service time. The family thanks Karen “Jade” Walker and Lakeshore Hospice for the loving care of our father.
