Annie Tabor Arceneaux's Obituary
Annie “Stella” Tabor Arceneaux passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2008.
She was born September 17, 1927 to the late Annie Barradell and Raoul Tabor. The beloved wife of the late Elgin L. Arceneaux, Sr., she is survived by one daughter, April A. Mayo; one son, Elgin L., Jr.; one sister, Margaret T. Melancon and four grandchildren: Marylin A. and Carl J. Mayo, Richard L. and Jonathan L. Arceneaux. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillian T. Arceneaux and Dorothy T. Batemps and a brother, Louis Tabor.
A native of Thibodeaux, she was a resident of New Orleans since 1944, a devoted parishioner at Immaculate Heart of Mary in New Orleans East and a member of the Blue Army of Mary.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation will begin Tuesday at 9:30 AM.
Interment will follow mass at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington.
In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred.
