Annette Lignieres Bunel's Obituary
Annette Lignieres Bunel of Mandeville, LA passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. She was born on January 28, 1925 in Guadeloupe, French West Indies to Henry and Marguerite (Boulogne) Lignieres.
Annette was the loving mother of Raymond Bunel (Jean), Denyse Elliott, Marilyn Bunel, and John Bunel. She was the doting grandmother of 7 grandchildren Annette, Danielle, Donnie, Phillip, Yvette, Jacky, and Sonny; her 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her brother Fr. Henry Lignieres.
Annette is preceded in death by her beloved husband Jack L. Bunel, her grandson Sonny Kinchen, her sister Simone Lignieres, her brother Pierre Lignieres, and her parents.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 1:00 PM with visitation on Saturday beginning at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow the services in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington, LA.
