Anne Marie Jensen's Obituary
Anne Marie Jensen, a writer and world traveler, passed away at her home on Thursday, July 23, 2009, at the age of 52.
Beloved daughter of the late Gloria Braud Jensen and Millard Jensen. Loving sister of Lionel M. Jensen and his wife Susan D. Blum and special aunt of Hannah and Elena Jensen. She is also survived by many loving cousins whose devotion in recent months was extraordinary and indispensable.
Ms Jensen graduated from Metairie Park Country Day School, received her BA from Hollins College and her MA in Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. Ms Jensen was a person of deep compassion for humans and animals alike which she used in her private counseling practice and in caring for her many feline friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafite St., Mandeville, LA, with visitation at church on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until Mass time.
Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to St. Joseph Hospice and Palliative Care Northshore, 19405 Helenburg Rd., Covington, LA 70433.
