Anna Jane Hasenkampf Carleton's Obituary
Anna Jane Hasenkampf Carleton of Mandeville, LA passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018. She was born on November 6, 1922 in New Orleans, LA to the late Henry Hasenkampf and Marie Laura Rettenmeier.
Anna is survived by her beloved husband Thomas Carleton; her children Craig Carleton (the late Kimberly), Mark Carleton, Kurt Carleton (Lea), Shaune Smith (Rikki); ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Anna is preceded in death by her sisters Laura Hasenkampf, Johanna Nau, Henrietta Hasenkampf, Florence Massey, and Helen Fore.
Anna had a successful career as a Dental Hygienist with Dr. Bond in New Orleans for many years. She was also a long-time member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Covington. Anna loved to tend to her flower garden and follow Tommy to his band jobs to dance while he played. She also baked a great chocolate cake. Above all else, her favorite calling was to be a great mom.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Wednesday beginning at 9:00 AM.
