Anna Duclos Bologna's Obituary
Anna Duclos Bologna, at the age of 93, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 30, 2023. She was born in New Orleans, LA on May 7, 1929 to Herbert A. Duclos and Alma O’jeda Duclos. She has been a resident of Abita Springs, LA since 1970. She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio Bologna and is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Ann Bologna; one son, Anthony C. Bologna (Melissa); five grandchildren, Brian S. Picou, Martin and Carla Barcelona, Nicholas and Megan Bologna and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her eldest daughter, Diane Bologna Boland and eldest granddaughter, Gretchen Picou Clifton; and siblings, Herbert A. Duclos, Jr., Mavis Cannon, June Lumpkin and Elaine Hebert.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the care provided by Hospice Compassus.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Bolonga be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 2:00 PM with visitation on Tuesday beginning at 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
