Ann Butler Rooney's Obituary
Ann Butler Rooney passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the age of 62.
Beloved wife of 36 years to Daniel E.D. Rooney. Loving mother of Alison Rooney and Erin Rooney. Daughter of Joyce Lotz Butler and the late John Kenneth Butler. Sister of John Kenneth Butler, Jr. Grandmother of Amber Rooney. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Ann was a native of New Orleans, a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish and has lived in Covington since 2005. She was a 36 year employee of Whitney Bank. Ann’s passion in life was being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Monday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday morning beginning at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
