Ann Louise Dragna's Obituary
Ann Louise Mahoney Dragna was called to her eternal home on Monday, July 7th following a courageous battle with a rare form of thyroid cancer. Ann was surrounded by her family at her beloved home in Old Mandeville; she was 50. Ann was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, friend, potter and gardener.
She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Dorothy Mahoney of Metairie, La and her brother Robert S. Mahoney of Robert, La.
Survived by her husband, Michael A. Dragna, sons Michael A. Dragna, II and Christian R. Dragna and daughter Kate A. Dragna. Also survived by three sisters, Jeanne McCollister, Ruth Mahoney and Mary Murray, two brothers, Edwin Mahoney and James Mahoney and 18 nieces and nephews.
A native of New Orleans, Ann was raised in Metairie and was a resident of Mandeville for the last 17 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Celebration at Trinity Church, 19380 North 10th Street, Covington, LA on Monday July 14th at 7pm.
In lieu of flowers it is the wish of the family that memorial donations are made to Hospice of St. Tammany, 4410 Hwy 22, Mandeville, LA 70471.
Special thanks to the loving and gentle care given to Ann by the entire staff of HOSPICE of St. Tammany, especially Joanice , Alden and Demitria.
