Anita Mae Plances Lamanette's Obituary
Anita Mae Plances Lamanette passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in Covington, LA. A native of New Orleans, she was born on Saturday, August 8, 1931 to Sarah Francipano and Frank Plances and was a resident of St. Bernard for nearly 50 years before moving to Covington in 2005.
The beloved wife of the late John James Lamanette, she is survived by her daughter - Debra L. Delatte (Kenny); two sons - John "J.D." Lamanette (Desiree) and Ronald J. Lamanette (Janis); two granddaughters - Melissa Boos (Jason) and Michelle King (Chad); and two great grandchildren - Mason and Madison Boos.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 6 sisters; and one granddaughter - Rachelle Candebat.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 14, 2017 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours will begin Friday at 10:00 AM.
Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA will immediately follow mass.
