Karl and Kevin,
I was out of town this week and just returned. I wanted to let you know that I am truly sorry for your family's loss and wanted you to know that I have nothing but the fondest memories of my former teacher and the utmost respect for a true man of God, as he was. God Bless you guys and I will certainly continue to keep him in our prayers. Pierre Simoneaux
Geri, I am so sorry. I'm here if you need anything.
You and your family are in my prayers.

Dear Kevin, Keith, Gina, Geri, Karl, Angela, and family. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my mom in September of last year and still miss her terribly. I know that words are never enough to ease the pain but also know that Mr. "C's" life can be celebrated with a sincere well done! I know the impact that he had on my brother and I during our time at St. Paul's and that there are hundreds of others who would say the same thing. Remeber that the end of our time here is only the beginning of a perfect eternity. Hang on to the the truth that one day we will celebrate the greatest family reunion ever with him and the rest of our loved ones. I know they are cheering us on from Heaven. Praying for you guys,
Jeff

... Literally, just last month, I asked a fellow Saint Paul's Alumni about "Mr. Cav" ; someone who keeps up with the family - I was happy he reported : "Angelo? - he's doing great - still as solid as a rock - looks the same - great guy as always ". I smiled.
Mr. Cavaretta was one of my first, and favored teachers, in my first year at Saint Paul's ... a man who led by example as to what IT IS "to be a man"; a requisite quality young men searching there place in the world hopefully find, then embrace if blessed to have found. My education, my person, was enriched in having the privilege of Angelo Cavaretta as a teacher, as man, a father figure for many of us to "look up to", in merely being himself.
To his children, wife, and family I extend my prayers ... to Kevin, my friend, I extend a heartfelt hug to you buddy. Your lives were blessed to have such a father ... thank you for sharing your "Dad" with your fellow Saint Paul's school mates.
Karl, My prayers and sympathies are with you and your family.
