Angel "Ang" Dolese's Obituary
Angel “Ang” Dolese passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the age of 64, in Covington, Louisiana. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and grew up in Chalmette, where she attended Andrew Jackson High School. Ang later became a longtime resident of Folsom, Louisiana, where she worked as a baker and contributed to several of Coffee Rani’s popular pastries. She was also a faithful member of River of Life Church where she served whole hearted.
Ang’s life was firmly rooted in her faith and devotion to the Lord, which shaped the way she loved and served others. One of the greatest expressions of that faith was the deep love she had for her nieces and nephews, whom she affectionately called “her kids.” She joyfully supported them through every season of life from, sports, award ceremonies, graduations, and weddings. No distance was too great; whether driving for hours or flying across the country, Ang was always there to cheer them on. She truly was their number one fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence “Putty” Dolese and Beverly Dolese.
She is survived by her siblings: Clarence Dolese (Lisa), Scott Dolese (Carmina), Kelly Dolese (Lisa), and Frank Dolese (Tammy). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Mallory Kirby (Kris), Jade Shepard (Jason), Mariah Peterson (Logan), Caleigh Gourgues (Ben), Dominique Chamberlain (Patrick), and Mitch Dolese (Courtney), along with nine great-nieces and great-nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at River of Life Church, located at 72385 LA-1077, Covington, Louisiana 70433.
In celebration of Ang’s life and love for sports, guests are encouraged to wear their favorite sports jersey.
