Lurline and Family - our sincere sympathy for all of you. So much admiration for all of you - you were such a loving support to get him through his difficulties and his inner strength made all of you even stronger. Lurline, our talks when Ronnie was going through his medical issues were so encouraging and are so appreciated. I know all of your cherished memories will help get you through this sad and difficult time. Our prayers are with all of you - Alton will always be watching over all of you.

A pleasure and honor to have played a small part in his past and to have added some more years to his life. Blessings to his family.
It is with my Deepest Sympathy for the loss of your Family member. I graduated with Alton in 1963. He was alway kidding and having lots of us. He will be missed by all.R. I. P. ALTON.
My wife and I have had the privilege of knowing Mr. Thompson through his daughter and son-in-law, Joel and Allison. It didn’t take long for me to realize Mr. Thompson is one of the gentlemen you feel like you’ve known a long time. Just super down to earth, low key. Maybe that’s the grandpa in him. I’m sure he had some fire back in the day. But, there was no fire in him wearing those white crew socks and sandals when he was here in FL. He wanted to be comfortable and hang out when here, and I liked that about him. And, having daughters of my own, I could count on some good advice and great stories about raising daughters from him. When he first told me he had three daughters, I asked him what that was like. He said “It was a B****!” I think I laughed so hard, the neighbors two streets over heard me. He was funny that way. Always a joy to be around, interested in my affairs too. He even helped me when I was out of a job and paid me to wash his car...generously paid me I should say. Big big heart! No doubt he will be missed and thought of often. God bless you, Mr. Thompson!
Love you,
Jud and Lori Dupree
