Alton Francis LeNormand Jr.'s Obituary
Alton Francis LeNormand, Jr. passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday December 2, 2023 at the age of 57 after a courageous battle with leukemia. He was Born June 3, 1966 in New Orleans, LA to Alton Francis LeNormand, Sr. and Judy LeBlanc LeNormand.
Alton is survived by the love of his life, his wife Rayanne Boudreaux LeNormand of 33 wonderful and meaningful years. He was the loving father of Heidi LeNormand Alcorn (Kevin) and Holly LeNormand Nellett (Jeff). Alton was the proud Pawpaw of Olivia, Aubrie, J.J., Kash, Ryleigh, and Lilian. He was the brother of Tammy Sill (John), and Michele Prince (Kevin). He is also survived by his Godchild, Ryan Krebs and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Louis E. LeBlanc, Sr. and Thelma Fernandez LeBlanc and paternal grandparents James C. LeNormand, Sr. and Alberta Moliason LeNormand.
Alton was a proud graduate of Archbishop Rummel High School class of 1985. He was a dedicated employee of Mele Printing for the past 24 years, where he made many meaningful friendships. One of his greatest accomplishments was building his dream car, a 2019 Dodge Charger Scat pack. His passions included hunting, fishing, camping, and spending quality time with his grandchildren.
We would like to thank Dr. Andrew Dalovisio, Ochsner Oncology Department, and Ochsner Medical Hospital for all of their care during Alton’s courageous battles.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until Mass time. Interment will follow the Mass at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington, LA.
