Alton L. Cooper's Obituary
Alton L. Cooper passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2010. He was born February 7, 1925 in Orange, TX to the late Dan E. and Alice Wager Cooper and was a life resident of Madisonville.
The beloved husband of the late Elaine DeMarb Cooper, he is survived by two daughters, Linda Jarrell and Theresa Bennett; one son, Alton L. “Ike” Cooper, Jr.; one sister, Eva Jean Marcel; 10 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Dan E., B.L. and James Allen Cooper; two sisters, Kathleen Luke and Corrine LeBouef and two grandsons, Raymond and Doss Jarrell.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 19, 2010 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours will begin at 12:00 Noon.
Interment at Theo Dendinger Cemetery in Madisonville will immediately follow services.
