Allen "Kinsley" Malley's Obituary
Allen “Kinsley” Malley passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was 73. Kinsley was preceded in death by his parents, John Allen Malley, Jr. and Berta Christeene Young Malley and his siblings, Larry Jo Malley, Janice Aloel Jacobs and Lucinda Malley Davis. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 50 years, Brenda Kaye Cleland Malley, his daughters, Jaime Malley Stein (Ben) and Jodie Malley (R J Strain) and his grandchildren, Kayley Stein Bennett (Austin), William “Bryce” Stein (Megan) and Zachary Strain (Bella Mizell) and also survived by his great-grandchildren, Easton Wayde Bennett, Jett Brooks Bennett and Raelynn Grace Strain. Kinsley is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Malley was a native of Waldheim and life-long resident of Covington. Kinsley was a graduate of Covington High School, Class of 1969. As a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 37, he was a dedicated and skilled welder, admired for his craftsmanship and commitment to his trade throughout his long and illustrious career until his retirement due to lung disease.
He enjoyed listening to classic rock and roll, classic cars, cooking and spending time with his family. Blessed with the gift of extended life through a lung transplant on June 10, 2018, he was able to cherish additional years of special family moments.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to a visitation on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 1:00 PM at E J Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA. Services will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by interment at Abita Springs Cemetery in Abita Springs, LA.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Bella Mizell for her loving and compassionate care given to PawPaw Malley.
