Alison Davis White's Obituary
Alison Davis White passed away on August 8, 2021 in Jackson, MS. She was born on October 2, 1975 in New Orleans, LA to Janice Christine Smith Davis and the late Alger Francis Davis, Jr.
Ali was the beloved wife of Johnny Hugh White for 18 years. She was the loving mother of Aislinn Elizabeth White, Jacob Hugh White, Aiden Christopher White, and step-mother of Maiya Jahnny Coleman. Ali was the sister of Belinda D. Brown-Gast (Curtis Gast) and Aaron C. Davis (Stephanie). She was the aunt of Mackenzie Brown and the late Joseph A. “Joey” Gettys, IV; Joshua Davis (Cynthia), Sophia Davis, Katherine Davis, and Caroline Davis. Ali was the Godmother of Scotty Smith and Bailey Sutton.
Ali completed high school at Immaculata High School in Marrero, LA and graduated from the University of New Orleans, New Orleans, LA, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She earned an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge, LA. Ali was an emergency room nurse at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, in Walker, LA, caring for patients in the most need for nearly a decade. She loved animals and would allow her children to bring home and keep any animals found in the field or swamp.
Due to COVID-19, social distancing is encouraged and masks are required to attend services.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 3:00 PM with visitation from 1:00 PM until Mass time. Interment will follow the service at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington, LA. If desired, donations may be made to the Sierra Club, www.sierraclub.org.
