Alice Jarrell Lloyd's Obituary
Alice Jarrell Lloyd passed away on Monday, September 30, 2013, at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. A life long resident of St. Tammany Parish, she was born in Franklinton, LA on Wednesday, June 12, 1963 to J.D. and Shirley Fairburn Jarrell.
The beloved wife of Manuel A. "Mannie" Lloyd, she is survived by one son - Dustin M. Lloyd; five step-children - Dana L. Talley (Cody), Lacey N. Lloyd, Tesha E. Jackson, Chad A. Hartley and Brandon S. Hartley; one sister - Anita J. Seal (Dennis); three brothers - Jesse R. Jarrell (Kim), Robbie Jarrell (Cherie), Bryan Jarrell (Christi); 11 Grandchildren and her niece - Jessica Jarrell, who was an amazing care taker, always at her side to help and hug during her battle with cancer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, countless extended family members and dear friends.
Her grandparents - Clifton and Minnie Fairburn Fredrick, Jesse and Sarah Carlisle Jarrell, precede her in death.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 05, 2013 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours will begin Saturday at 9:00 AM.
Interment at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery in Covington will immediately follow services.
