Alice Jackson Havrylkoff's Obituary
Alice Jackson Havrylkoff passed away at her home on Sunday, March 20, 2016, at the age of 90. She was born on September 28, 1925, in Eclectic, Alabama. Alice enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, and attending aqua fitness classes at Pelican Athletic Club, where she made many wonderful friends. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, caregiver, and Polar Bear Queen of P.A.C.
She is survived by her son, David Havrylkoff (Lauren); step-daughter Barbara Rempfer (Harry); grandchildren, Jeanne-Marie Havrylkoff, Delaney Havrylkoff, Debra Rempfer Rogers (Bill), Michael Tebbe, Christopher Tebbe, and Morgan Tebbe; and great grandchild, Isaiah Rogers. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry Havrylkoff; parents, Joe and Carrie Jackson; brothers, Joe Jackson, Jr., Willie Paul Jackson, Thomas Stonewall Jackson, and Billy Jackson; and grandson, Harry David Rempfer.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation, which will be held at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, Louisiana, on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. A brief remembrance of her life will begin at 11:00 a.m.
Alice’s family requests that those attending wear spring colors, rather than black, as a celebration of Alice’s life and her love of colorful flowers.
