Alice Marie Goebel Cressy passed away on Sunday, April 28. 2019 surrounded by family at her home in Ponchatoula, LA. She was born on October 23, 1940 in Ferriday, LA to the late Lawrence A. Goebel, Sr. and Edna Margaret “Dolly” Allen Goebel.
Marie was the beloved wife of Roy Louis Cressy. She was the mother of Ryan L. Cressy, Louis M. Cressy, Courtney C. Lege, and Margaret A. Cressy. Marie was the proud grandmother of Erin, Ashley, Tyler, Emily, and Jacob. She was the sister of Lawrence Goebel, Jr. and Ronald Goebel.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 3:00 PM with visitation from 1:00 PM until service time.
