Alfred Trinkle's Obituary
Alfred Trinkle passed away on Monday, May 11, 2009.
Beloved father of Lynn Barbara Trinkle Truxillo and her husband Charles; and loving grandfather to April Truxillo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Theresa Trinkle; and a brother, Rudolph Trinkle.
Age 81 years, he was a native of Koenigsdorf, Austria and a resident of Madisonville, LA for the past 15 months. A United States Marine Corp Veteran, he served during World War II. He worked for the Allentown Morning Call Newspaper in Allentown, PA from 1948 to 1980, at which time he retired as Vice-President of the newspaper.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation on Thursday will begin at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA.
