Alfred J. Junot, Sr.'s Obituary
Alfred J. Juno, Sr. passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at the age of 84.
Beloved husband of the late Geraldine Sutton Juno. Loving father of Alfred Juno, Jr., Nancy Juno Bunn and Robert Juno. Son of the late Agatha and John Junot. Grandfather of Nicole, Ashley and great-grandfather of Hannah Marie Juno. Brother of Robert Juno and the late Emerson Juno, Ralph Junot, Jimmy Junot, Elwood Junot and Mervin Junot.
Mr. Juno was a native Algiers and a resident of Abita Springs since 1984. He was a WW II veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8720, retired from the New Orleans Public Schools, a member A.U. Petersen F.& A.M. and Past Master.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 3:30 PM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 with visitation on Saturday beginning at 1:30 PM.
Interment will follow in Abita Springs Cemetery.
