Capt. Alexander Michael Petit's Obituary
Capt. Alexander M. Petit passed away on September 9, 2023. He was born on September 14, 1928 in New Orleans, LA to the late Michael Petit and Zenovia Kiriakou Petit.
Alexander was preceded in death by both of his wives, Mary Aline Lowe Petit and Josephine Petit. He was the beloved brother of Peter Petit (Jacquelyn), the late James Petit, Effie Petit, and Gus Petit. Alexander was the proud grandfather of George Ennis, James Ennis, and Michael Ennis. He was the uncle of Michael Petit, Pam Petit, and Paula Petit.
Captain Petit retired as Pilot 43 for Crescent River Port Pilots Association after a 34 year career.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time.
