Alden Henry Reine, Sr., born August 17, 1937, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2019 at his home in Hammond, Louisiana following a long, courageous battle with prostate cancer. A resident of Hammond following Hurricane Katrina Read Obituary
Donald and Lois are deeply saddened by the loss the you and your family have encountered. Our condolences. Alden was a groomsman in our wedding 56 years ago in New Orleans at St. David Catholic Church. We attended Xavier University and Notre Dame University. We will include him in our daily prayers. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Dr. Reine and I attended graduate school together at Notre Dame in the late 50's and early 60's; were roomates in South Bend, Indiana; and on the Xavier chemistry faculty together for years later. My sincere condolences to the family. Rest in peace, Alden.

To Lois, his wife, children: Al, Gena, Susan ( J J ), their mother, Sondra, grandchildren: Jaden, Justin, Holden, Emma & Alex, and devoted cousin, Carolyn (Sterling). I share your deepest sorrow.
