Albert Torricelli's Obituary
Albert V. Torricelli age 91, of Mandeville, Louisiana passed away on Friday morning, June 25, 2021 at Hospice House of Slidell. He was born on Sunday, August 18, 1929 in Trapani, Sicily to Vincent Torricelli and Josephine Cardinale.
He is survived by his loving children Sharon Marie Phillips (Bill), Bridget Anne LeBlanc (Dalton), and Vicki Ann Townsend (Charlie). Albert was proud grandfather and better known as “Gump” to Brian Phillips, Courtney Brehm (Jonathan), Jeffrey LeBlanc, Christopher Townsend, and the late Michael Phillips, great-grandfather of Penelope Elizabeth Brehm. He is also survived by his ¬sisters Alice Di Domenico and Rosalie Federico. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Albert is preceded in death by his wife of 72 years of marriage Betty Ann Broussard Torricelli, his parents Vincent and Josephine Torricelli, and his sister Josephine Lombardo.
Albert joined the United States Air Force at the age of 18, earning the rank of Corporal at the time of his honorable discharge. Albert began his professional career in Life Insurance Industry as a well respected Insurance Agent. He was proud parishioner of Mary Queen of Peace, where he was member of Knights of Columbus and head usher for many years.
Al was devoted to the love of his life. He was humble and always supportive of his family. He was well respected and loved by all who knew him. Al was a caring, kind, generous and most of all loving person. His grief stricken family will truly miss him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, Louisiana 70433 on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 12:00 PM with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow the services in Garden of Memories Cemetery 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, Louisiana 70001.
