Albert Joseph Bordelon died at home on December 5, 2010 after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Lelong Bordelon and three brothers, Ron Bordelon, Gary Bordelon and Kenny Bordelon, as well as nieces, Katherine Read Obituary

Dear Yvonne, What a lovely obituary you wrote for Al, it made me cry. I am sending you and all the family love and prayers. I wish that i could be there with you and the rest of the family today, but sending my heart felt condolences in spirit. I have wonderful memories of Al. As I told Gary, Al and I shared Chris as his Godparents. He was always so kind to me a such a gentleman. I see him now as always, a beautiful person, now in spirit. My prayers are with you always! I was so sorry to hear about Al's passing. He was a very unique individual with a big heart! I will remember him and all that he has done--- Yvonne, you and he have been such a great example of how to face adversity and difficult times in situations like this, and I am glad that he isnt suffering. Please let me know if there is anything Lynn and I could ever do for you--I have been so busy with work I havent had as much time to enjoy my other activities, but do hope to see you sometime soon and will be thinking of you both.
