Agatha Grieshaber Schoen, 96, of Covington, LA, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late George David Grieshaber and Jennie Carra Grieshaber. She was preceded in dea Read Obituary
Offering my deepest sympathy to the family of Mrs.Schoen. I met her many years ago when Mr. Bobby hired my father, Johnny Rayford, to work at the funeral home. My parents were invited to their home shortly after moving here and I was allowed to attend. The Schoens were all very nice to me over the years. In 1968 the Schoens gave dinner for my wedding party at the Country Club in Slidell, sent wedding gifts after the marriage. The day before I married a gentleman killed himself at Schoen Funeral Home in Slidell. Mr Bobby sent people over to clean. They were all so very to my parents and me, that I felt I should right to her family. They both passed, Dad in 1992 and Mom 2015. So to all the Schoen children and grandchildren, I just wanted to convey how nice your parents were to my family. The Schoen employees as well. My prayers are there for you thru the days ahead.
