Adrienne Farrell Kepper's Obituary
Adrienne Farrell Kepper, age 81, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2007 in Houston, Texas.
She was a lifelong resident of New Orleans until Hurricane Katrina.
Beloved wife of the late Stewart J. Kepper. Loving mother of Stewart J. Kepper, Jr. and his wife Candy, Adrienne K. McFaul and her husband Louis, Millie K. Brown and her husband Elder, Margot K. Berry and her husband Currell, Donald T. Kepper and his wife Cissy, David C. Kepper and his wife Paula, and Thomas F. Kepper and his wife Jeanne. Devoted grandmother to Kelly Devlin, Emily Craft, Adrienne McFaul, Will McFaul, Simonne Brown, Elizabeth Brown, Elder Brown, III, Margot Berry, Simonne Berry, Currell Berry, Jr., Adrienne Berry, Daniel Ruszaj, David Kepper, Jr., Paul Kepper, Andrew Kepper, Joseph Kepper, Mathilde Kepper, Marcelle Kepper, Stewart Kepper, James Kepper, William Kepper, and Grace Kepper; great-grandmother to Haley Devlin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred P. and Thomas C. Farrell; two sisters, Shirley F. Egge and Audrey F. McCrary; and a brother, Thomas C. Farrell, Jr.
At the age of 16, she graduated from Isidore Newman School and at the age of 19 she graduated from Newcomb College, where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. She was a member of the Military and Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem, The National Society of the Colonial Dames of America, The Ruth McEnery Stuart Clan and the Orleans Club. She was a parishioner of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 6367 St. Charles Ave, New Orleans, LA on Saturday May 12, 2007 at 11:00 AM.
Visitation will be AT CHURCH from 9:30 AM until service time.
Burial will follow Mass at Metairie Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer Masses, or contributions to the Society for Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, Executive Plaza III, 11350 McCormick Road, Suite 906, Hunt Valley, MD 21031, (800) 457-4777, www.psp.org or the charity of ones choice.
