Adrian Etienne Lahare's Obituary
God called an audible and called Adrian Etienne Lahare home a little early. We are pretty sure he just broke par on Heaven's golf course this morning and will be beating his usual partners on the tennis courts this afternoon.
Adrian was born 7/9/54 in New Orleans and died in his sleep at home in Baton Rouge on Sunday, 10/9/11.
Adrian was all about family, love, and the beauty of nature - just hearing the sound of his kids’ voices, playing with his grandbabies, sitting around watching a Saints or LSU game with everyone, even listening to a bird sing or watching a flower bloom - gave him such joy.
He leaves behind 2 daughters and families, Jennifer, Chase and soon-to-be grandson Tatum Glynn, Danielle, Carlos, and granddaughter Isabella Michele Pearse, 2 sisters, Rozanne Lahare Bailey and Kim McNeil (and George). He also leaves his life partner and soul mate, Sharon Murphy and her two sons and families, Steve and Vanessa Zanovec and grandchild-to-be, and Michael and Jamie Zanovec and granddaughter Stella. Preceded in death by his mom, Blanche DiStefano, his dad, Earl Lahare, and his beloved sister, Michele Sellers.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 1:00 PM from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time.
