Adrian Boyd Hodgson, Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Adrian Boyd Hodgson, Jr. passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 in Madisonville, LA. He was 85. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adrian Boyd Hodgson, Sr. and Louise Wehrli Hodgson. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Joan Hano Hodgson, his children, Adrian Boyd Hodgson, III (Tara) and Lisa Hodgson Forrest (Bryan) and also survived by his grandchildren, Tyler Alan Forrest (Gabie), Lauren Adriane Hodgson, Kathryn Louise Forrest, Alexa Danielle Hodgson and Matthew Scott Hodgson, siblings, Richard Hodgson (Julia Anne), Cheryl Hodgson and Margaret Hodgson Tantillo (Vic), also many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Adrian was a native of Covington, LA and was a resident of Madisonville after returning upon his retirement from ExxonMobil after residing in Texas for eight years. Adrian was a member of the Exxon Mobil Retirees Club, the St Tammany Sportsman’s League, and the Ozone Squares. He was a parishioner of St. Peter Catholic Church in Covington, LA and was a member of the Knights of Columbus St. Benedict-Covington Council 3061.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation on Monday, February 26, 2024 at E J Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 11:00 am from St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E. 19th Avenue, Covington, LA and the visitation will begin at 10:00 am until mass time at the church. Interment will follow in Stanga Cemetery in Bedico, LA.
