Ado Joseph Rogers, age 75 of Covington, LA died on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born, Thursday, October 20, 1938 in Blond, LA to Ado Rogers and Catherine Rogers.
Survived by his loving Wife of 55 years - Deloras Hickman Rogers, Son - Samuel Rogers, Daughter - Monica Diane Tisdale (Thomas "T.E."), Daughter - Marilyn Denise Giovenco (Peter), Daughter - Daphne Suzanne Watson (Josh), Son - Todd P. Shaffett (Melinda), Brother - Bobby Rogers, Sister - Yvonne Owens, Sister - Shirley Thibodeaux, Grandchildren - Kelly Rogers, Sheri Montgomery, Derrick Spell, Mandy Spell, Tiffany Jourdan, Tarah Tisdale, Taylor Tisdale, Brock Giovenco, Brittany Giovenco, Ashley Reed, Joshua Watson, Ian Shaffett, Caleb Shaffett, and Brennan Shaffett. Also survived by 16 GreatGrandchildren.
He was predeceased by his Father - Ado Rogers, Mother - Catherine Rogers, Brother – Leon Rogers, Brother – Everett Rogers and Daughter-in-law - Sharon Sharp Rogers.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 28, 2014 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation on Monday, July 28, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home.
Interment in Fussell Cemetery Covington, LA.
