Addie Koch Marriott, age 43, of Covington, LA passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021. She was born on August 31, 1977 in New Orleans, LA to Julian Koch and Cynthia (Roberts) Koch. Addie is survived by her children Eli Marriott, Read Obituary
Addie was a wonderful Daughter in Law, sweet and kind and gave me and my late wife Diane, two wonderful grandchildren, Faith and Eli. I regret not staying in touch with her, but i have her still here with Faith and Eli.
I will miss you Addie, and your wonderful smile. May the Lord hold you in the palm of his hand.

Addie my dear, you had vision and knew the path you wanted to go. Unfortunately we get lost in life sometimes and it can be hard to find our way through traumatic experiences we face. I remember you always smiling and always believing the sun would shine again. You always talked about your kids and making it through. You were always optimistic. But I know that there are no more worries or anything left to hold you down. You will never be forgotten and you will always hold a special place in my heart my love. Your heart was pure. I hope to see you again one day.
My dear Addie. I can't believe you have left us so soon. My thoughts and prayers go out to you, Scott, Faith, Eli, Brittany and especially to your Dad and Chris. Life will never be the same without you but know that Uncle Wayne, Lindsey and I are here to help them in their loss. I will always remember how you and Lindsey were so alike you could have been sisters. Watching you grow into the beautiful woman you became reminds me of how close a family we were. I pray you are at peace and with your mom, grandparents, cousin Eric, and of course aunt Mary. I have faith that I will be met by you when my time comes. I love you dear Addie.

Addie, you were like a sister to me for many years. We were inseparable from 18-32 years old And then we sort of lost touch. You were such a bright spot in my life and always made me smile. I loved you from day one. You will be greatly missed.I know how much you loved our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I know that you were in his arms forever more.
Dear, dear sweet Addie, lots of tears…
I’m writing this for Eli and Faith…I want you to know that your mother was one of the most loving, kind and sweetest persons our family has ever known. We loved Addie since she was a young girl. We are each mourning as we recall our experiences with her, beginning with the lively carpools to NCS..
Then Jaimee has sooo many memories of being with Addie at the Roberts’ stables, as they shared many hours together riding horses. It was during this time that we got to know your Mom’s family, the Roberts’ her mom, your grandmother, Cindy and Aunt Connie.
Such warm memories, shared all through their high school years together. Your Mom was an outstanding horse-woman, she knew her stuff, she rode beautifully and gracefully, she was a natural, and won many ribbons. I’m sure you know, and are proud of her many achievements.
Then, I became close friends with your mom after she graduated from beauty school, and we joked that she could ‘practice’ on me…I was amazed in that instantly she knew her stuff! She was talented, she had a gift, and knew how to make a client look good; excelling in every way. Thus began a deep friendship, for which I am so very grateful, and blessed.
All of our family deeply cared for your mom, we treasured her friendship. We feel very blessed in knowing her, and seeing her sweet, sweet spirit.
Addie loved her family more than anything, your Grandparents, your Daddy, but most of all you, you were her pride and her joy..You were everything to her, she talked about you so very often, always with such love, and appreciation that God blessed her with both of you.
Finally, we want to share that above all, your mom knew Jesus as her personal Savior, and she loved the Lord. It’s with fondness that she would recall her days on the praise team, her desire to be the Christian that God wanted her to be. It is with that realization today that you can know that at this very moment, she is rejoicing with your grandmother Cindy, safely in the warm arms of our Savior. We are so deeply saddened to lose such a very dear friend, and want you to know how very special she was, a precious, precious sweet lady.
Heaven received a sweet and special angel with your momma…I am deeply sorry, and mourn your loss, and the loss of so many in this community who loved her as well.

I met Addie as a hairdresser. She quickly became a very close friend of mine. Staying at her house when I was in town. Listening to her dreams and visions and hopes and desires. My heart is broken for her loss and the worlds loss. She was a beautiful soul that was finding her way through dark places and always saw the light at the end of the tunnel. Always hopeful. Always believing. I am just so sad. May God comfort her beautiful babies.
