Acacia Brooke Heck Alford's Obituary
Acacia Brooke Heck Alford of Folsom, LA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, January 18, 2020. She was born on June 29, 1972 in Covington, LA to Jerry and Karen (Willie) Heck.
Acacia is survived by her parents Jerry and Karen; children Adriel Heck, Trenton Alford and Mason Alford; her grandchildren Amelia Heck, Sophia Heck, Madison Heck and Louis Heck. She is also survived by her brother Erik Heck; her niece and nephew Elizabeth and Seamus Heck; as well as her best friend Sharon Ducote and many other extended family and friends.
Acacia is preceded in death by her uncle Keith Willie, her paternal grandparents George and Mary Heck, and her maternal grandparents Leo and Juanita Willie.
Acacia graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Following graduation, she started her nursing career with the abdominal transplant unit at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans. She then served as a hospice nurse with Egan Hospice for many years. Acacia was a dedicated mother to her sons and beloved pets. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 2:00 PM with visitation on Friday beginning at 12:00 Noon. Following the services, interment will take place in Folsom, LA at Willie-Lee Cemetery, where she will be buried next to her grandparents. Please sign the E.J.
