Thoughts and prayers from Joy Huhn Hobart
I got to know AW beginning in 1977 as an architect working with AW on job sites, where he was usually working as a construction superintendent. I always enjoyed working with him because I could trust him, without question. And if AW suggested another way to do something, you better listen to him.
He also helped Martha and me to renovate our first house. He was a pleasure to be around and to work with. One of the truly good guys!
AW was a straight shooter, something the world needs more of. He sought to give to the world as much or more as he received from the world. I always enjoyed the time I got to spend with him. Prayers for RuthAnn & the Dutruch family as you mourn AW’s loss and celebrate his beautiful life and legacy.
Blessings,

I remember A.W. from growing up in Blond. I always liked him and his family. I admired his ability to create things with his hands. I am sure he will be missed.
Will miss him dearly. yes he had a big heart that was always willing to help anyone. Enjoyed getting to know him thru COM. Laughed and played a lot of dominos together. I remember he would get little upset when they didn't have grits on the breakfast menu at the camps. He liked his breakfast. He was ready to eat and go to work. Loved by ma
