I met Michael and his wife Karen at my first ALS support group meeting.
I continued to see them at other meetings and events. I never had the pleasure of talking with Michael, but I would see him smile when I said hello.
Michael was in the hospital numerous times, but being the fighter that he was lived up to Steve Gleason’s motto "No White Flags ".
Always the sweetest nephew, would drop everything to help those who asked.
